Nath is the Founder of International Design Consulting & Development Management Firm Nath Rankothge Associates (NRA), and the global award winning Aarunya Nature Resort & Spa. Nath is a Registered Architect in NSW, Australia, since 2013.

NRA primarily operates in the Design, Property Development, & related Asset Management spaces. NRA currently services International & Local Investors in Real Estate Development including high quality Mixed-Use & Resort properties, predominately in the Asia-Pacific region, however with a global aspiration.

Prior to private practice Nath was an International Consultant Architect, working on complex international projects with sophisticated clients. He has been significantly involved with over 30 high profile architectural projects under construction or completed in 12 countries over a span of over 16 years, for leading European, Chinese, American, British, and Australian practices. 

Nath is committed to developing quality and high value projects and properties that demonstrate pragmatic, strategic, & visionary design excellence, with social & environmental concern. This is achieved through business acumen, good design, and leveraging network synergies, for big ideas, global challenges and organisational goals, whilst always keeping focused on the details of quality, creativity, innovation, management, financial, and technical matters.

Nath has worked as an Associate Director for Design World Partnership (DWP) in Sydney Australia, Senior Architect for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in New York, Senior Architect for UNStudio (UNS) in Shanghai, Architect for Aukett Swanke (AS) in London, Site Architect for Balmond Studio (BS) in Colombo, & Architectural Assistant for Andrew Burns Architects in Sydney, Australia. Key projects include a 2500 student school in Sydney (DWP), 300m tall four tower mixed use project in Chongqing (UNS), a 150m tall triple tower residential mixed-use tower project in Phnom Penh (NRA), Jarir Investments Head Office Tower & Retail Showroom in Saudi Arabia (SOM), Carnegie Mellon University Robotics & Tata Consulting Services Building ‘TCS Hall’ in Pittsburgh (SOM), 10 Trinity Square Four Seasons Hotel/Residences in the City of London (AS), & Waterfront Integrated Resort - “Cinnamon Life” in Colombo (BS).

Keith Mak | Design Manager / Project Manager

Registered Architect (NSW, Australia).

Keith is experienced in development, project and design management of complicated projects, including the tallest residential building currently under construction in Sydney, and University of Sydney’s College of Art. The projects often consist of challenging stakeholder management, authority approvals, specialised brief, value management, existing and heritage structure, diversified consultant team management, tender and contractor management and operational readiness. Keith has strong client-side management experience in the residential and education sectors, and has worked in reputable entities including Greenland Group, the University of Sydney and FJMT.

Equipped with overall understanding of projects and ability to evaluate and make sound judgement between cost, programme, design, procurement, contracts, sales, marketing, buildability, stakeholder expectation and business outcomes. At the same time, hands-on and proficient with design, regulations, legislations and technical details supported by a Registered Architect background. Competent in managing project phases throughout strategic planning, brief development, DA, DD, CC, tendering, value management and construction / contract administration. Possessing good relationship and management skills with councils, authorities, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and both local and overseas suppliers.

Peter Logan | Design Architect

Registered Architect (New York, USA).

LEED Accredited Professional.

Master of Architecture, Yale University.

Peter is an architect currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Peter has 8+ years of experience practicing architecture in New York and London. He has worked on projects in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. As a student at Yale University, Peter was mentored by the late Zaha Hadid. Upon graduating, Ms. Hadid invited him to join her eponymous practice in London, where he became an integral part of her personal design team. He holds architecture degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Yale University. Peter is a licensed architect in the states of New York and Georgia and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

He has worked at international architecture practices Zaha Hadid Architects (London) and SOM (New York) on projects ranging from residences and office towers, to airports and master plans, in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. In his three years at Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA), Peter worked on projects including the recently completed Beijing Daxing Airport, the Highline residences at 520 West 28th St in New York and various competitions for towers and masterplans. In 2016 Peter began working for Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) in New York. At SOM he worked on office towers in Riyadh and Mexico City. Peter is currently working on delivering two interiors projects in Atlanta and a ground-up university engineering building in Seoul.

 

Teoman N. Ayas | Design Architect

Registered Architect (Instanbul, Turkey).

Master of Architecture, Yale University.

Teoman is an Architect based in London. He holds an MArch degree from Yale School of Architecture and BFA degree from Parsons School of Design. Teoman holds over ten years of experience working at the offices of Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA), UNStudio and Skidmore Owings and Merrill (SOM) on a wide range of international design competitions and built work. He is specialised in utilising digital design tools. 

At SOM, Teoman led the design of 250m residential tower in Gothenburg through scheme design all the way to tender stage. The tower is currently under construction. Also at SOM he participated in significant design competitions such as Schiphol Airport New Terminal and Port City Colombo master plan. During his tenure at ZHA, Teoman collaborated on the design of another residential tower which is now completed in Miami, USA. Teoman led developed design studies for various amenity spaces for 1000 Museum tower. Teoman also collaborated on the design of recently completed Beijing Daxing Airport. Teoman is currently working on several residential and civic projects as well as holding lecturer positions at Architecture Association and London South Bank University.

Angus Henson | Technical Architect

Registered Architect (NSW, Australia).

Angus is a Registered Architect based in Sydney, Australia with over 7 years of extensive technical experience working on small to large scale projects for multiple award-winning firms. His knowledge covers commercial, community, and residential design from concept to construction. Angus has the practical experience and skills required to manage and deliver architectural projects to the highest standard.

Punsara Aloka–Bandara | Technical Architect

Assoc. AIA  - New York, USA.

B.Arch – Unitec School of Architecture, Auckland.

Punsara is a creative, enthusiastic, and innovative Technical Architect currently based in New York, with over 8 years post qualification experience in residential, commercial and educational architecture. He is proficient in BIM collaboration using Revit & BIM360, working on all stages of project design, construction documentation and contract administration. He has the ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team, displaying excellent communication and management skills. He is adept at sketching, technical detailing and learning new design processes and technologies.

Federico Fioravanti | Design & Technical Architect

Masters Degree, Architecture and Urban Design, UAV University of Venice.

Postgraduate Diploma - RIBA/ARB Part 3, UCL.

Federico is a London based Architect with more than 9 years of international experience in the design and construction industry. His work spans a broad spectrum of sectors, including aviation, hospitality, residential and mixed-use projects. As well as working across all stages from concept to completion, he is an advanced BIM user able to implement computational tools in the design process. Federico’s work focuses on innovative design solutions that maximise quality, space and commercial value in order to create a remarkable guest experience. His goal is to align the best experience for the end user with client’s financial objectives, with a focus on the strategic brief and the conceptual design.

Xiaoping Zhang (Sam) | Founder, Director | YI Architects

Southwest Jiaotong University School of Architecture.

Xiaoping Zhang has engaged in planning and construction work for 19 years. He is experienced at planning architectural design for large-scale comprehensive cities, communities and parks. From 2005 to 2010, he worked as an Architect at Chengdu Light Industry Institute & Chengdu Architectural Design Co. Ltd. Since 2010, he has been the Founder/Partner of YI Architects.

Jiayue Zhao (Poseidon) | Architect, Partner – Business Development | YI Architects

BDESARCH, University of Sydney, Australia.

Poseidon studied, worked and lived in Australia for 12 years. In 2012, he participated in the New & Old City project in Bhopal, India for Global Studio with Nath. With the mission of creating 21st century architecture with oriental charm, he has been striving for the development of Chinese architecture. Now working and living in Chengdu, he is an Architect Partner of YI Architects. With a background in research and architecture, he has also made achievements in marketing and management. He was a Senior Manager of HNT, Sydney's largest real estate investment advisory firm and later served as the Head/Partner of the Shanghai branch.

Zhang Sen (Johnson) | Architect, Partner - Technical | YI Architects

Sichuan University Planner/Architect.

Zhang Sen specializes in urban design, industrial parks, logistics park master planning, and industrial/logistics architectural design. He has in-depth research and unique insights into industrial layout, transportation organization, and urban design. He is responsible for or participated in a number of industrial parks, overall planning of logistics parks, constructive detailed planning, and architectural design. Now working and living in Chengdu, he is an Architect/Partner of YI Architects.

Ruitao Zhu (Tarek) | Architect, Partner - Projects | YI Architects

Master of Architecture, University of Sydney, Australian Architect.

Ruitao Zhu has studied in Australia, Germany and New Zealand for 13 years. He graduated from the Department of Architecture of the University of Sydney with a Bachelor's degree and a Masters degree in Architecture. He has worked for the Australian architectural firm PTW, and has been involved in the design of Sydney Harbour landmark complex Sydney One, large commercial and residential projects 88 Christie St, Cumberland News Ltd, with in-depth research and insights on urban, community, and architectural spaces. Now working and living in Chengdu, he is an Architect at YI Architects.

Lisa Jehle | Architect, Collaborator - Projects

Bachelor and Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Stuttgart and Technical University of Istanbul.

Lisa has designed and developed a large bamboo structure for an NGO in a monastery in Myanmar during her master's degree. She volunteered as an architect for several months and studied bamboo and ecological building structures. She then worked for two years in Germany as a project manager, interior designer and graphic designer in a company specializing in advertising and exhibition design. Since early 2021, she has been working in Sri Lanka, bringing bamboo knowledge to the local community, mainly working in the field of bamboo design and scale model making.
