Project Description
The Waterfront Integrates Resort is an International luxury mixed-use development designed to British standards & specifications.

 
The development features an 800 room, 5 star luxury hotel with entertainment, conferencing, exhibition, spa/gym, banqueting, all-day dining, specialty restaurants, 2 residential towers, 1 office tower, waterfront esplanade, landscaping, retail mall, carparking & civil works (Roadways & 6 lane vehicular/pedestrian bridge).

Project Involvement
Nath was involved as a Site Architect for Balmond Studio. Balmond Studio is responsible for full service of architecture, engineering, cost-control, project management and site supervision, as well as the interior design of all public spaces.

 

Nath worked closely with the Project Manager, Senior Site Architect, Operations Manager, consultants, contractors, authorities, & client.

 

Specific tasks included:
- Coordination & communication of design information between local consultants, the design team, sub-consultants (Interior Design), contractors, operators, & the client.
- Assisting in preparing project management/design audits, cost reviews, technical/pre-qualification reviews, & tracking documents covering submissions from the contractor, design team, sub-consultants (Interior Design) & commercial operators.
- Preparation of presentations for client meetings, workshops, reviews, & local authority reviews.
- Liaising with local authorities, contractors & the client regarding adjacent public waterfront developments.
- Coordinating requests for variation proposals & site enabling works, including utility connections, & storm-water/sewage diversions.
- Developing Architectural VE proposals together with the client, contractor & design team.
- Contract & VE developments (Structural & MEP) post tender (Observer).
- Design coordination of the Engineers/Consultants Site Office (3 storeys/1800sqm) & fast-track apartment mock-up for sales.
- Contractor RFI preliminary reviews prior to design team reviews.
- MOMs for project team meetings, contractor progress meetings, site meetings, design coordination meetings, & design workshops.
